We’re two plant-obsessed people behind Brandts RX Plants, growing, propagating, collecting, and sharing our love of plants from our home base in Chattanooga. What started as a shared plant addiction has grown into a business, a community, and a whole lot of plants we probably don’t have room for. We’re so glad you’re here — come hang out, find your next plant obsession, and grow with us!
Our Story
It all started with Lizzie’s Alocasia obsession in 2020. What began as collecting quickly turned into propagating and selling corms to plant lovers around the world.
When Ben and Lizzie met in 2024, their two plant collections became one, and things got a little crowded. We started propagating more of the plants we loved, experimenting with soil, lighting, nutrients, and everything else that goes into growing happy, healthy plants.
In March 2025, we took our plants on the road for our first plant show in Kentucky. We went to sell plants, but quickly realized our favorite part was the people. Meeting other collectors, growers, beginners, and fellow plant addicts showed us that we wanted Brandts RX Plants to be more than a place to buy a plant.
We’re here to grow plants, share what we’ve learned, keep learning ourselves, and build a community around something we genuinely love.
